Configure KeyScribe’s appearance and security options.

Appearance

Theme

Choose between three theme modes:

• System - Follows your device’s dark/light mode setting
• Dark - Always use the dark theme (pure black background)
• Light - Always use the light theme

Security

Key Pair

View your RSA-2048 public key, fingerprint, and creation date. Share your public key via QR code, copy, or share sheet. See Contacts & Keys for details.

Contacts

Manage imported public keys for encrypted note sharing. See Contacts & Keys for details.

Backup & Restore

Export or import your encrypted notes with password protection. See Backup & Restore for details.

Biometric Unlock

When enabled, KeyScribe requires fingerprint or face recognition to open the app. This adds a layer of protection if someone has physical access to your unlocked phone.

Toggle this on or off in Settings. If your device doesn’t support biometrics, this option has no effect.

About

Shows the current app version.

Language Support

KeyScribe supports:

• English - Default language
• Arabic - Full RTL support

The app language follows your device’s language setting.
